The method involves evaluating image information of an image acquisition device by recording a background image with the object carrier (2) in a first position (2a), recording an object image with the object carrier and object (3) in a second position (2b), producing a difference of the two images, determining an object carrier image region (4) including the carrier in the first position and the carrier with the object in the second position, learning this region as a pattern by comparing with the background image and determining the position from the learned pattern in the object image.. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the inventive method. |
