A cloth bonding apparatus detects a gas pressure inside a storage chamber when the worker steps on and presses down a pedal. When the gas pressure is equal to or more than a predetermined value, a movable portion is moved to be fitted into a key hole. The cloth bonding apparatus moves a pressing portion to open a valve of a cartridge filled with an adhesive. Thus, the cloth bonding apparatus can pass the adhesive through a channel and discharge the adhesive from a nozzle in a state in which the cover portion is closed. The cloth bonding apparatus moves a moving portion to make the cover portion openable when the detected gas pressure inside the storage chamber is less than the predetermined value. The cloth bonding apparatus moves the pressing portion to close the valve of the cartridge.
