<p>Method for allowing a content provider system (9-11) to verify the age of a user (1) holding a terminal (2) prior to providing content to the user terminal through a communication network (3), the user having registered with an operator of the communication network, the registration comprising the storage in a database (6) of the operator of information from which the user age can be derived. Prior to providing content to the user terminal, the content provider system : obtains user identity related information with respect to the user ; requests retrieval of the information from which the user age can be derived, stored in the database of the operator with respect to said user, the request including the obtained user identity related information ; and obtains the age of the user as a result of said retrieval of the information from which the user age can be derived.</p> |
