PURPOSE: An electric oven and an operating method thereof are provided to the life span of a heater, since voltage provided to a heater is maintained lower than rated voltage. CONSTITUTION: An electric oven comprises a main body(101), a grill heater(130), an oven heater(110), a convection fan(120), and a convection motor. A cavity is formed inside the main body to accept food. The grill heater is placed at the upper end of the cavity. The oven heater is placed at the inner rear part of the main body. The convection fan provides blowing power to convect heat generated from the oven heater.
