The device has a flushing plate (3) moveable between lowered and raised positions, where plate lies at a wall region (4) during lowered position and releases a part of a channel section during raised position. The plate has a flexible seal (11) in a region that contact with the region (4). The seal has a base section (14) held in a plate body, and a lip section situated outside of the plate body to attach at the wall region.
