<p>PURPOSE: A method for handling a transient document and a computer readable storage medium are provided to estimate a transient document deletion cycle. CONSTITUTION: An erase sequence start time is received(62), and the time for sequence start time is monitored(64). At or after the erase sequence start time, a short-term document erase sequence is initiated(68). A transient document including an erasable imaged pattern is moved from a first storage region to an erasable region. The transient document from which the erasable imaged pattern is erased is provided. The transient document is moved to a second storage region.</p> |
