PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to rapidly enter a dehydrating stroke by changing the period of a laundry unwinding stroke based on the forward rotation speed and the backward rotation speed of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a washing tub, a motor, and a controller. The laundry is added to the washing tub. The motor supplies the torque to the washing tub. The controller performs a laundry unwinding stroke. The controller controls the motor to repetitively rotate forward and backward. The controller controls to enter a dehydrating stroke based on the forward rotation speed and the backward rotation speed of the motor. The controller changes the period of the laundry unwinding stroke based on the forward rotation speed and the backward rotation speed of the motor. |
