PURPOSE: A wire protection plate for a wire reel is provided to easily store, carry, and deal with a wire reel by being fixed to an edge of a side plate of the wire reel. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of wire protecting plates(3) are arranged along an edge of a side plate(2) of a wire reel(1). A wire protection plate is comprised of a front surface(6) and a rear surface. A fixing steel wire groove is formed on both sides of the front surface. A penetration hole(5) is formed on four edges of the front surface. A groove for a removal process is formed on both sides of the rear. A lattice type reinforcement band(11) is formed on the front surface and the rear surface.
