PURPOSE: A crane is provided to control the operation of the crane in a prohibition area and to be installed inside an engine room of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A crane(1000) comprises a rail(10), a hoist unit(20), a first moving unit(100), a first display unit(312), a first sensor unit(310), and a controller(400). The rail is longitudinally extended. The hoist unit lifts cargos. The first moving unit is movably coupled to the rail in order to move the hoist unit. The first display unit is coupled to the rail. The first sensor unit is coupled to the first moving unit and recognizes the position of the first display unit. The controller controls the operation of the first moving unit depending on a position recognition signal of the first sensor unit.
