PURPOSE: An electro static discharge protection device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily perform a handling operation of a following process and reduce resistance due to a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An ESD(Electro Static Discharge) protection device includes an ESD protection circuit body, a first internal terminal(1400), and an ESD protection chip(1000). The ESD applied to the ESD protection circuit body is discharge to the external ground or power rail. The first internal terminal is prepared on the bottom of the ESD protection circuit body. The ESD protection chip includes a second internal terminal and a third internal terminal formed on the surface except the bottom of the ESD protection circuit body.
