PURPOSE: An information processing apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided to easily write a workflow. CONSTITUTION: An information processing apparatus for executing a workflow comprises: a flow registration unit(6001) for registering the workflow having a plurality of steps; a flow management unit(6003) for managing a start parameter for indicating a condition for starting each step included in the workflow and an end parameter that is generated at an end of each step; and a determination unit(6002) for determining a second step for following a first step based on the end parameter of the first step and start parameters managed by a flow management unit. |
