PURPOSE: A method and a device for double friction welding are provided to improve the efficiency of friction welding by using the frictional heat of a friction welding machine. CONSTITUTION: A method for double friction welding comprises steps of: respectively setting two base materials(70,71) in two chucks(40,41), rotating the two chucks in opposite directions, advancing one of the chucks by cylinders(50,51) so the base material set thereon contacts the base material set on the other one, stopping the rotation of the two chucks when the frictional heat increases over the set temperature, and pushing one of the chucks more strongly so as to weld the two base materials together.
