PURPOSE: A sewing strip, which is woven with a microfilament yarn and includes a duck down blocking piece, is provided to prevent duck down from leaking to the external part of clothes and to improve the quality of duck down clothes by filling the duck down and backstitching each part of the duck down clothes. CONSTITUTION: A sewing strip is sewed by being inserted between an outer cloth of down clothes and a lining. The sewing strip is woven with a microfilament yarn. A plurality of duck down blocking piece(22) are included on the longitudinal direction of the sewing strip excluding a sewing unit(21). A wool unit is included on both sides of the duck down blocking piece. A method for sewing the down clothes using the sewing strip comprises the following steps: preparing the sewing strip which is woven with the microfilament yarn; forming the multiple duck down blocking pieces along the longitudinal direction of the sewing strip; forming a pocket for accepting duck down; and filling the pocket with the duck down and sewing the duck down into a padding shape. |
