SLIT CAISSON AND BREAKWATER AND SEA WALL THEREOF

PURPOSE: A slit caisson with a sponge structure, a breakwater and a quay using the same are provided to maximize a wave absorbing effect even in the limited width of a flow chamber. CONSTITUTION: A slit caisson with a sponge structure comprises a main body(10A) and sponge structures(10B). The main body comprises permeable walls(11), an impermeable wall(12), and flow chambers(13). The permeable walls have multiple slits formed to be contiguous to a sea surface. The impermeable wall is formed in the rear of the permeable walls. The flow chamber is formed between the permeable walls. The sponge structures are composed of supports(15) and absorbing walls(17). The absorbing walls are connected to the supports and has multiple slits(17a).
