PURPOSE: A buffer for a truck deck gate is intended to provide light weight by an empty inner construction and to enhance the durability due to the use of thermoplastic elastomer. CONSTITUTION: A buffer for a truck deck gate is formed from thermoplastic elastomer. The buffer is integrated. The buffer has a circular cylinder shape in which a fastening hole(11) is formed on the central part. A fastening member(20) is inserted into the fastening hole and the buffer is fixed to the truck. A bonding plane(13) making tight contact with the truck is formed on one side of the buffer. A plurality of secondary compartments(16) are formed on the edge of the fastening hole formed on the bonding plane in a circumferential direction. One or more projections(17) are formed on the outer circumference of the circular cylinder in a band shape.
