PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rice cake steamer is provided to simply form an extension part by rolling a base plate with a press and improve the strength and durability of a rice cake steamer through heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a rice cake steamer comprises steps of: pressing a soft stainless base plate to form a hexahedral main body(10) with open top, cutting the rest part except a certain length of an extension part from each side of the top opening of the main body, putting a wire of fixed diameter on the bottom of the extension part and pressing the extension part from above to form a rolled part(50a), punching the bottom of the main body into a rectangular shape with channel parts(30) left, bending the channel parts perpendicularly, and welding fitting parts corresponding to the channel parts to the bottom corners of the main body. |
