The device has an electrically-heated sole (3) comprising holes (9) for providing steam or fluid flow. The sole has a structured surface on an outer surface, where the structure surface has chambers (5). Intermediate areas between the chambers form channels (10) that are connected with one another. The holes are arranged in crossing-areas (17) of the channels for distributing steam or fluid below the sole, where the chambers are differently designed with respect to the height and/or diameter.
