A canister for collecting grease from a bearing ofa wind turbine comprises a body defining an interior space having an opening, a lid releasably attached to the body over the opening, and a conduit extending through the body or the lid. The conduit projects into the interior space and is configured to receive grease from the bearing. A bag is removably coupled to the conduit within the interior space SO that it can be removed and replaced afier collecting the grease.
