PURPOSE: A structure for preventing fire diffusion in an apartment house is provided, which can prevent fire from being expanded to the upstairs through window and door installed at balcony. CONSTITUTION: A structure for preventing fire diffusion in an apartment house includes a flame blocking member(10) which is installed in the exterior wall(20) between the down stairs and upstairs of an apartment house and prevents fire created in the down stairs from being expanded to the upstairs through window and door(30) installed at balcony. In the flame blocking member, a penetration hole is formed in the longitudinal direction to make a fixing member(40) fixed on the exterior wall penetrated.
