A transmitting method and system for the short physical random access channel based on the time division duplex system are provided, in the method, the short physical random access channel is transmitted on the uplink special time slot, and the durations of the short physical random access channel are made to be the same in case of the uplink special time slot employing a normal cyclic prefix or an extended cyclic prefix. The reliability of the Short-PRACH is enhanced, the complexity of random access is reduced and the cost is saved by the present invention. |
