The stick i.e. telescopic stick (1) has a stick element (40) comprising a rigid section (41) and an elastic or hinged section (42). Another stick element (20) and the rigid section are connected with each other in a movable manner using the elastic or hinged section, where diameter of the rigid section corresponds to diameter of the hinged section. The stick elements have a coupling device (30) at an end for coupling with a work device e.g. mop or a wiping plate. The stick elements are designed as a cylindrical shaped hollow body.
