PURPOSE: An anchor for an expansion joint and a steel reinforcement connection method using the same are provided to firmly secure steel reinforcements with minimized welding work. CONSTITUTION: An anchor for an expansion joint comprises an anchor portion(100) and a cover member(200). The anchor portion includes a fixing part fixed to an expansion joint and an extension part which is extended to the outside of the fixing part and has a steel reinforcement receiving groove. The cover member is pivotally installed in the extension part and has a steel reinforcement securing groove corresponding to a steel reinforcement.
