PURPOSE: A solid oxide fuel cell stack containing an airtight sealant is provided to secure the low reactivity with other cell stack components without starting a cracking inside the cell. CONSTITUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell stack is manufactured by the following steps: forming a first fuel cell stack assembly by arranging more than one interconnected plate with a fuel cell unit containing a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte, by turns; supplying a glass sealant in between the interconnected plate and the fuel cell unit; heating the first fuel cell stack assembly and applying the loading pressure of 2~20 kg/square centimeters to change the first fuel cell stack assembly into a second assembly with the glass sealant; and cooling the second assembly to form a final fuel cell stack assembly. |
