METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF RESISTANCE OF WOOD TO FATIGUE AT TORSION

摘要

Method for determination of resistance of wood to fatigue at torsion includes application to sample rigidly fixed with one end in fixed clip of device of torsion one-time load till instant of its breakage. Top the other end of sample that is installed in movable clip and rotates in bearing one applies repetitive torsion loads. Change of value of torsion angle α of simple with respect to its axis one controls by change of value of eccentricity of eccentric. Resistance of wood to fatigue at torsion is determined by number of cycles N of torsion loads that sample undergoes till beginning of destruction depending on value of angle of its twist angle α.
