PURPOSE: Manufacturing methods of a wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester resin and a wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester resin compound are provided to secure the excellent matter property of the wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester resin by including a poly-condensation process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester resin comprises the following steps: synthesizing a wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester prepolymer by poly-condensing two material monomers using an acetic acid metallic catalyst; and synthesizing a wholly aromatic liquid crystalline polyester resin by poly-condensing the prepolymer. 0.01~0.1 parts of acetic acid metallic catalyst by weight is used for 100 parts of monomers by weight.
