METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING FEEDBACK INFORAMTION IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING A PLURALITY OF ANTENNAS

PURPOSE: A method and a device for transmitting/receiving feedback information in a communication system using a plurality of antennas are provided to use a common feedback channel way and can reduce the feedback frequency resource used in a multicast transmission, thereby largely improving the performance according to the increase of the number of user terminal in corresponding cell. CONSTITUTION: Data packet is received from a base station(210) through a down link multicast transmission channel. The data packet is decoded and whether decoding of the data packet is successful or not is checked. If the decoding of the data packet is failed after checking the result, it generates NACK signal which shows failure of decoding the data packet by using series of the same numbers with the antenna numbers. The NACK signal is transmitted to the base station through a common feedback channel. The generated series each has orthogonality between each other, and comprises a sequence signal.
