PURPOSE: An underground pump for a floodgate with a swirl prevention unit is provided to prevent noise, vibration, abrasion, and damage to the underground pump by preventing a swirl. CONSTITUTION: An underground pump for a floodgate with a swirl prevention unit comprises a pump body(221), a cover(223), a swirl prevention member(250). The pump body is installed in a door main body(210) of a floodgate(200) and drains flowing water. The cover is installed in a suction port(222) of the pump body so that an inlet port(224) is toward the ground. The swirl prevention member prevents water flowing through the inlet port from being swirled.
