FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: cover for container, particularly barrel intended for storage and/or preparation and/or transportation of hydroscopic materials. Cover inner surface accommodates mechanical securing device that covers a part of area that passes water vapor inside container that houses one or several packages with drying agent representing particles. This securing device can serve to secure one or several packages with drying agent representing particles. Said securing device can represent metal grid interacting with metal spring. Said grid features flat main surface and lateral surface embracing the latter to separate said part of area that passes water vapor inside container that houses one or several packages with drying agent representing particles from remaining inner volume of the container. Besides said securing device can represent metal rods whereon package with drying agent is fitted and locked by lock washer. Or, said securing device can have retaining spring adjoining cover inner surface.
