PACKET PROCESSING METHOD IN REDUNDENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A packet processing method in a redundant network system and a system thereof are provided to enhance an algorithm for checking redundancy in a receiving terminal to minimize packet loss, thereby building a reliable network system. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting terminal transmits the same packet through a redundant network made of the first and second networks. If the nth packet is received through the first network, the nth number of the nth packet is compared with (n-1)th number of the (n-1)th packet(S300,S310). If the (n-1)th number and the nth number are not serial numbers, the nth packet is buffered during a fixed period. The buffered nth packet is transmitted to a higher layer.
