FIELD: printing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods providing for easier searching of information of interest on pages of stitched printed maters, first of all, such as various catalogues, advertising, scientific and educational and entertaining magazines, photo albums, etc. Method for opening of illustrated printed matter at required page consists in the fact that previously all pages are bent simultaneously so that ends of neighboring pages are displaced relative to each other. Colour gamma of each page end is read and memorised, as well as part of side surface of each page adjacent to end and/or their sequence, afterwards, when it is necessary to open illustrated printed matter at required page, it is taken, colour gamma of end and part of side surface of each page adjacent to end and/or their sequence is recalled, and of sought for/required or adjacent page is found, and illustrated printed matter is opened at required page. ^ EFFECT: proposed invention provides for less time needed to search for required information and for opening of illustrated printed matter at required page. ^ 7 cl |
