GOLODYAEV'S HARD ARMOR PLATE

FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plate is secured on armor vest and represents ""-like section with its ends secured to two brackets via clamping assembly. The latter consists of case with friction element, spring element and eccentric element jointed to control handle. Lower ends of said brackets are secured in armor vest rear wall armholes together with fastening assembly made up of two plates and screw pair. Said plate is sewn all around by multiplayer bulletproof fabric that makes a cover above top edge of aforesaid ""-like section. Front and side panels of hard armor support optical periscopes of panoramic view arranged at the plate top part and aiming periscope arranged at the plate right bottom face. Aiming periscope is arranged in opening closed by armored shutter and multilayer bulletproof fabric. Note that both periscopes are integrated in single optical unit. ^ EFFECT: protection of personnel against direct hit into head by bullets with energy of up to 1000 J. ^ 3 dwg
