METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING TYPES OF DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION OF LEFT VENTRICLE IN AGED PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE

摘要

A method for diagnosing the types of diastolic dysfunction of the left ventricle in the aged patients with the chronic heart failure comprises the assessment of the parameters of intracardial hemodynamics, in particular, the record of the maximal rate of transmitral diastolic flow during early and late diastolic filling of the left ventricle. Furthermore, the content of natriuretic peptide and the index of the maximal volume of the left atrium are measured. The type of diastolic dysfunction is diagnosed depending on the parameters being recorded.
