摘要

A method for treatment of pleural empyema by carrying out of pleural cavity puncture, videotoracoscopic operative intervention and laser coagulation of altered pleura sites. Additionally a site for toracoport introduction is selected depending on purulent process volume and localization in pleural cavity, complying with the triangle rule.A laser fibre is fixed to the working tool and entered into one of toracoports depending on decortication zone and location of bronchial fistula. The laser coagulation is carried out by AIG-neodime laser at initial power of 40 Wt and a doze of 3000-5000 J under constant radiation mode.
