A method for long-term control of numbers of fur and wool pests includes directed destructive effect on pest populations. At the beginning and in the period of mass egg laying of females of pests three joint settlings of parasites of eggs of fur pests, in particular of Trichogramma of the species Trichogramma evanescens Westw. and T. pintoi Voeg., are carried out in a ratio of 1:1 and in an equivalent of 15, 25 and 20 females per 10 mof the area of premises. In addition, furs and wool are kept at a temperature of +60...+65 °C in the course of 1.5-2.0 hours with the products frozen at a temperature of -17±3 °C aщк 2.5-3.0 hours. |
