PURPOSE: A semi-active steering apparatus is provided to enhance the steering convenience of a driver and the running stability of a vehicle by the operation of a steering wheel according to a running speed and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: A semi-active steering apparatus comprises a rack bar, a steering knuckle(330), a lower arm(320), a scrub radius regulator(360), an electronic control unit, and a motor. The rack bar changes the rotational movement of a steering wheel(202) into the linear movement. One side of the steering knuckle is connected to a tie rod(115) connected to the rack bar and the other side is connected to a shock absorber(310) and steers a wheel. One side of the lower arm is connected to the steering knuckle and the other side is fixed to the body of a vehicle. The scrub radius regulator comprises a supporting member and an eccentric rotator. The supporting member is fixed to the lower arm. The eccentric rotator is inserted into the supporting member, makes eccentricity with the steering knuckle and is connected to be rotatable. The electronic control unit(430) receives the value measured by a vehicle speed sensor or a gear position sensor and determines a scrub radius regulating value. The motor receives the scrub radius regulating value from the electronic control unit and rotates the eccentric rotator.
