PURPOSE: An eraser based on a styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the harmfulness of a pencil eraser from a conventional PVC pencil eraser. CONSTITUTION: An eraser based on a styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer contains 15~35wt% of styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer, 30~70wt% of calcium carbonate, 5~20wt% of paraffinic white oil, and 5~10wt% of surfactant xylene splate pigment. A manufacturing method of the eraser comprises the following steps: stirring all the material inside a stirrer for 30 minutes~2 hours; extruding the mixture in the temperature of 150 deg C; crushing the mixer using a crusher, into a pellet form; and extruding the mixture using an extruder in 100~150 deg C.
