<p>PURPOSE: Ultra high-strength spring steel is provided to reduce the added amount of nickel by adding niobium, titanium, and molybdenum to aluminum. CONSTITUTION: Ultra high-strength spring steel is composed of carbon 0.6~0.7 weight%, silicon 2~3 weight%, manganese 0.5~0.9 weight%, molybdenum 0.05~0.15 weight%, chrome 0.6~0.7 weight%, nickel 0.2~0.4 weight%, vanadium 0.1~0.2 weight%, titanium 0.001~0.01 weight%, aluminum 0.001~0.01 weight%, boron 0.001~0.005 weight%, nitrogen less than 0.01 weight%, phosphorus less than 0.015 weight%, sulfur less than 0.015 weight%, niobium 0.015~0.045 weight%, and iron and inevitable impurities.</p> |
