PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an insulating tile using a porous material and the insulating tile manufactured using the same are provided to save heating expenses due to an excellent insulating property and prevent frost from being generated on the surface of the tile. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an insulating tile using a porous material comprises the following steps: pulverizing inorganic material, which is selected from kaolin, clay, pottery stone, talc, or limestone, and the porous material using a ball mil and manufacturing powder by making the pulverized materials pass through a spray dryer; manufacturing a molded product using the powder; drying the molded product at 1100-1140°C; coating the upper side of the molded product with a frit glaze; and manufacturing the tile by plasticizing the grazed molded product.
