EXTRACTING SPEED CONTROL METHOD OF CHIP ON FILM

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the uncoiling speed of a chip on film is provided to calculate a radius of a chip on film and control rotation speed of an uncoiler according to the calculated radius, thereby reducing errors due to scanning of a chip on film. CONSTITUTION: A chip on film is unrolled from an uncoiling roller by driving of an uncoiling motor to descend a dancer roller(S10). An uncoiling pulse is measured according to a measured length of the dancer roller(S20). The radius of a chip on film coiled on the uncoiler is calculated using the uncoiling pulse and an uncoiling length of the chip on film corresponding to the measured length(S50). Time due to one time rotation of the uncoiler corresponding to scan speed of vision is calculated based on the radius of the uncoiler(S60). A pulse frequency per a second is calculated using the time(S70). The uncoiling speed of the uncolier is controlled(S80).
