PURPOSE: A composition containing Torilidis Fructus extract for enhancing immunity is provided to enhance TLR-2 and TLR-4 activity in immunocytes. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immunity contains Torilidis Fructus extract as an active ingredient. The Torilidis Fructus extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C4 or mixture solvent thereof. The Torilidis Fructus extract is contained in the composition in 0.1-50 weight%. A functional health food for enhancing immunity contains Torilidis Fructus extract as an active ingredient. The functional health food is used in the form of powder, granule, tablet, capsule or beverage. A feed additive for enhancing immunity of animal contains the Torilidis Fructus extract as an active ingredient.
