FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: spring consists of hollow cylinder with slits made in parallel planes and perpendicular to axis of cylinder. The spring corresponds to flat rings connected with vertical bridges. Slits corresponding to sequence 2n and 2n+1, where n is a sequence number of the ring, are made along vertical bridges between rings starting from the second one and ending with last but one. ^ EFFECT: expanded functionality of slit spring due to its increased travel at high perceived forces. ^ 2 cl, 9 dwg
