<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge which can confirm existence of toner agitation within a toner cartridge body, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 52 includes: a storing space 53a for storing toner T; the cartridge body 53 having a wire 57 which can be disconnected by the impact of an agitating operation of the toner T; and a pair of output terminals 54, 54 that are arranged in the cartridge body 53 and respectively connected to both end sections of the wire 57.
