摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for promoting the warm-up of an exhaust emission control catalyst without lowering the following capability of supercharged pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A high pressure stage turbine 22 and a low pressure stage turbine 12 are arranged in series to each other in an exhaust passage 4 of an engine 1 at a space in the flowing direction of exhaust gas. They are driven to be rotated with the flow of the exhaust gas. The rotating torque of the low pressure stage turbine 12 can be assisted by a motor 14. An oxidation catalyst 6 is arranged in the exhaust passage 4 downstream of the low pressure stage turbine 12. A low pressure stage exhaust bypass line 43 is also provided for bypassing the low pressure stage turbine 12. In the low pressure stage exhaust bypass line 43, an exhaust bypass valve 44 is provided for opening/closing it. The control device 8 controls the exhaust bypass valve 44 to be opened to exhaust gas while bypassing the low pressure stage turbine 12, and the rotating torque of the low pressure stage turbine 12 to be assisted by the motor 14 when the warm-up of the oxidation catalyst 6 is required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
