PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a plurality of retrieval elements collectively by setting a search condition for every search element. SOLUTION: A search device has: a plurality of comparison means each including two full comparators; a coupling means which selectively couples the plurality of comparison means; and a setup means which sets up a determination formula to the plurality of comparison means for every search and sets up the coupling means so that the plurality of comparison means should be selectively coupled. A comparator 202 has a plurality of comparator core parts 301-304 each including the two full comparators.
