<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly respond to supply of power in various types of network configurations by appropriately changing over each of a plurality of ports for communication between a power reception port and a power feed port. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of apparatuses 10 are connected to one another through network cables 20 to form a network system. In an initial state before power reception, all of the plurality of ports 10a, 10b for communication are brought into a power reception enabling state. When the power is received from one of the ports for communication, all the other communication ports are brought into a power unreceivable state. The apparatus feeds a part of the received power to another adjacent apparatus by utilizing the communication port brought into the power unreceivable state. The supply of power can sequentially be performed from the apparatus that receives the supply of power from an external power feeding installation to an adjacent apparatus, and finally all the apparatuses receive the supply of power through the network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
