<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booklet page turning device, which can turn only one page without putting stress on the pages of a booklet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Prior to turning of the pages 90a of the booklet 90, a loosening member 4 is relatively moved from the top page 90d to the bottom page 90f in contact with a free end 90c of the booklet 90 to loosen the pages 90a, whereby the overlapped pages 90a are mutually moved, and the close fitting state of the overlapped pages 90a is released by introducing air to between the overlapped pages 90a to effectively separate the top page 90d from the next page 90e. Thus, double feed can be prevented when turning the pages 90a of the booklet 90, and only one page can be turned without putting stress on the pages 90a of the booklet 90.
