PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the reuse of trays having been used once. SOLUTION: A POS terminal 2 includes an input means for accepting an input indicating that a customer has brought a tray, and performs commodity registration and settlement. A member file 11 stores the number of times the trays were brought, or a point according to the number of times the trays were brought, at least on the basis of each member. When the input means accepts the input indicating the customer has brought the tray, a POS terminal 2 adds a predetermined value to either the number of times the trays were brought or the point according to the number of times the trays were brought, stored in the member file 11. Also, when a privilege is added to the customer based on the number of times the trays were brought or the point according to the number of times the trays were brought stored in the member file 11, the POS terminal 2 subtracts a predetermined value from the number of times the trays were brought or the point according to the number of times the trays were brought.
