<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for treating exhaust gas which can steadily and stably suck into a CO<SB>2</SB>recovering device a nearly whole amount of exhaust gas exhausted to the atmosphere from a stack in a simple structure while minimizing the air sucked from the atmosphere. <P>SOLUTION: A first apparatus 10A for treating exhaust gas includes the stack 15 discharging to the outside the exhaust gas 12 exhausted from a boiler 21, a blower 13 installed downstream of the stack 15 to take in the exhaust gas 12, and the CO<SB>2</SB>recovering device 22 recovering the CO<SB>2</SB>in the exhaust gas 12 taken in by the blower 13, and a flow-passage forming means 23A forming a meandering flow passage where the exhaust gas 12 and the air 17 flow is installed inside the stack 15 as a restricting means which suppresses the discharge of the exhaust gas 12 from the stack 15 to the outside and which restricts the inflow of the air 17 to the inside of the stack 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
