<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling support device which sets up an appropriate upper limit speed of a mobile object. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling support device 1 which performs traveling support based on an upper limit speed of a moving speed of a mobile object includes: periphery object detection means 10 and 31 to detect objects which exist around the mobile object; and an upper limit speed setting means 32 which sets up an upper limit speed which is different in the case when a periphery object detected by a periphery object detection means exists in an area on a path of the mobile object and in the case when the periphery object exists in a side area of the area on the path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
