<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp fitting for vehicle which can shorten a depth dimension of the lamp fitting for vehicle further as compared with a conventional one, and uses a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp fitting for a vehicle 100 includes a projection lens 20, the light guide plate 11, and a light source 12. The light guide plate includes a base end part 11a, a light guide plate body 11b curved to a projection lens side in a periphery of a focal point curve of the projection lens with respect to the base end part, and a reflecting surface 11c. The light guide plate body includes a column surface or cone surface as an emission surface inclined to a projection lens side, a rear surface opposite to the emission surface, and a prism surface. A lower end edge of the emission surface is formed in a shape along the focal point curve, and serves as a reflecting surface which reflects a light beam from the light source reaching the reflecting surface to a periphery of the focal point curve of the projection lens so that an incident angle to the emission surface is within a critical angle, and forms a high luminance part with higher luminance than a surrounding on the emission surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
